THE CLOSING CEREMONY OF P-III SA/WTR PROFESSIONAL ENGLISH COURSE 02/2024

The closing ceremony of Phase III SA/WTR Professional English Course 02/2024, was held on 10th April 2025 at the  Engineering School, Auditorium, Naval & Maritime Academy (NMA) with the presence of officers and sailor instructors from both the Language School and the Logistics and Management School.  The Officer-in-Charge of the Logistics and Management School, (NMA) honoured the occasion as the Chief Guest.

The course commenced on 14th March 2025, with the participation of forty-one (41) junior sailors. The course aimed of imparting professional knowledge to the trainees, enabling them to perform duties as competent Supply Assistants and Writers. Moreover, it focussed on improving language skills particularly writing, as well as expanding vocabulary and language proficiency to do their duties effectively.

The ceremony concluded with a  variety show  conducted in English, highlighting the talents and language skills of the course participants.  The Chief Guest congratulated all the course participants during his closing remarks and encouraged them to continue learning English to enhance the language proficiency.
