ABOUT US

Anti Submarine Warfare (ASW) School imparts sufficient theoretical knowledge and practical training of underwater warfare to officer and sailor under trainees. The theoretical knowledge and practical training impart to the trainees help for naval personnel of great capability when they perform their duties in the most effective and efficient manner leading to the excellence in the Naval service.

The ASW School is responsible for conducting training modules for officer under trainees and UC/UW training programs. Educational tours and practical exercises are arranged to enhance the knowledge in respective fields of training.

The aim of the LASC is to enhance professional knowledge and practical application of ASW of selected Student Officers with a view to develop their confidence related to the practical application of the subject and perform duties as Specialized ASW Officer of any class of Ship or at any shore appointment related to ASW.
