A successful coral replantation project was carried out on 07th and 08th April 2025 off Sandy Bay sea area, as a part of the nationwide “Clean Sri Lanka” initiative. This initiative was organized and carried out by the staff of the Diving School, reinforcing their ongoing commitment to marine conservation and environmental sustainability.
This impactful initiative not only contributed significantly to the restoration of marine biodiversity in the region but also provided invaluable hands on experience for the Diving School staff in advanced underwater conservation techniques.
Through initiatives like this, NMA continues to play a vital role in shaping environmentally conscious maritime professionals committed to preserving the marine ecosystem of Sri Lanka.
