ABOUT US

Seamanship School was separated from Nautical School in the year of 2002. The school imparts knowledge for both officer and sailor trainees pertaining to Seamanship and Naval knowledge aspects which are essentially required for naval personnel to be competent in their respective fields.

The service rendered by the Seamanship school is of paramount importance in molding naval personnel of high caliber. Apart from the training imparts for Officer Under Trainees, at present the Seamanship school conducts two courses for Sailor Under Trainees as follow.

    OUR POLICY

To impart sufficient theoretical knowledge and practical training for both officers and sailors in seamanship aspects in the ships and craft at various levels to perform their specified duties in the most efficient manner, leading to excellence in the naval service.
