SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETION OF THE GR III 02/2024 “Q” COURSE AT NMA

The Closing Ceremony of GR III Qualifying Course 02/2024 was held on 05th April 2025 at the Gunnery School of Naval and Maritime Academy, with the presence of officers and instructors of the school.

The course commenced on 30th September 2024, with the participation of fifty five (55) junior sailors and was completed within twenty seven (27) weeks. The course aimed to enhance professional knowledge of trainees to carry out Gunnery duties onboard ships and establishments. All trainees were awarded with a certificate on successful completion of the course.

The Officer-in-Charge of the Gunnery School, Commander (G) RMD Rathnayaka graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and congratulated all course participants during his closing remarks.
