SRI LANKAAIR FORCE POLICE BASIC TRADE COURSE VISITED THE NMA

Trainees of the Sri Lanka Air Force Police basic trade course visited the Naval and Maritime Academy on 4th April 2025 as part of their educational excursion. The team comprised with six (06) instructors and forty-two (42) trainees, including twenty-six (26) airwomen. They were warmly welcomed by Lt (PRO) BSS Ranaweera, the Second in Charge of the Provost and Regulating School, on behalf Commandant of the Naval and Maritime Academy.

The SLAF team was briefed on the general duties and history of the Naval Provost branch by Lt (PRO) BSS Ranaweera. Following this, the trainees visited the Museum and went on a boat ride.

The visit concluded with an interactive session followed by refreshments with the Phase III Provost Course Sailor Under Trainees. A special memento was presented to the NMA by the SLAF Police Basic Trade trainees to mark their visit to the Academy.
