THE OPENING CEREMONY OF PHASE III (SA/WTR) COURSE 01/2025

The opening ceremony of the Phase III SA/WTR Qualifying Course 01/2025 was held at the Logistics and Management School on 17th February 2025 at the Naval and Maritime Academy, marking the official commencement of the course.

The aim of this course is to augment the theoretical and practical knowledge of sailors in both naval and logistics-related subjects. Upon successful completion of the course, sailors will be equipped with the necessary qualifications to fulfill their respective branch duties. The Phase III SA/WTR Qualifying Course 01/2025 consists of 22 Sailor Undertrainees who will undergo twenty-four (24) weeks of academic study at the NMA. The course will conclude on 21st September 2025.

The Officer-in-Charge of the Logistics and Management School, Captain (S) RMIA Mendis, the 3IC of L&MS, Divisional Officer of the course, the Chief Instructor, FCPO (CH) TGC Kumara and other instructors from the Logistics and Management School were also attended the ceremony.
