INAUGURAL CEREMONY OF LESC 5

The inaugural ceremony of the 05th Long Executive Specialisation Course (LESC) was held at the Admiral Wasantha Karannagoda Mini Auditorium of the Naval & Maritime Academy (NMA) on 13th February 2025. The event marked the beginning of the course for 48 student officers who will undergo specialised training in Anti-Submarine Warfare, Communication, Gunnery, and Navigation.

The ceremony was graced by Rear Admiral R. Joseph the Commandant of NMA, as the Chief Guest. The Senior Course Coordinator of LESC welcomed the gathering and conducted the course brief. The event was attended by the Training Captain, Directing Staff of NMA, and student officers of LESC No. 05.
