The Naval and Maritime Academy (NMA), Trincomalee, Ceremonially and proudly celebrated 74th Anniversary of the SLN with conducting series of traditional naval events.The celebration commenced with a mega cleaning and painting project at the historic Jayasumanaramaya Temple and it reflected the NMA’s commitment towards the social community.
At the last phase of the celebration, the Commandant’s division and the traditional Badakana was held with the participation the cross section of NMA Ships’ crew, giving priority to prestigious naval customs and traditions.
