SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF THE CERTIFICATE COURSE 01/2024 IN GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEM

The closing address of the Certificate Course in Geographic Information System (GIS) 01/2024 for all sailors in all operational branches was held at the Information Technology School on 07th December 2024, marking the successful completion of the course.

The course was aimed to enhance the theoretical and practical knowledge of the sailors in GIS subjects and its goal is to equip sailors with the necessary expertise to excel as professionals in their relevant subject areas with GIS knowledge. The Certificate Course consisted of 12 Sailor Under Trainees who underwent two (02) weeks of academic studies at NMA.

The Officer In Charge of the Information Technology School, LCdr (IT) WSC Fernando, and instructors of the Information Technology School participated for the closing ceremony.
