The Naval & Maritime Academy (NMA) recently concluded its inaugural inter-school sports tournament, initiated by Commandant NMA to promote camaraderie among schools. The cricket tournament ran from September 18 to October 03, 2024, culminating in an exciting final match on October 03 between Electrical School and Officer Training Wing (OTW).
OTW batted first, scoring 77 runs, while Electrical School managed 51 runs, securing OTW’s victory. Captain SD Paranagama Training Captain attended as the Chief Guest, inspiring the participants. This tournament sets a precedent for future inter-school competitions at NMA, fostering teamwork and competitive spirit among students. Congratulations to OTW for their exceptional performance.
