OPENING CEREMONY OF PO ‘Q’ (SA/WTR), (ST) COURSE 02/2024 AND PHASE III (CH) 02/2024

The opening ceremony of Petty Officer Qualifying (SA/WTR) 02/2024, Petty Officer Qualifying (ST) 02/ 2024 and Phase III Chef 02/2024 Courses, was held at the Civil Engineering School Auditorium on 30th September 2024 marking the official commencement.

The aim of these courses are to augment the theoretical and practical knowledge of the sailors in both Naval and Logistics related subjects. After successful completion of the courses, sailors will be equipped with the necessary skills to cater respective branch duties. Petty Officer qualifying SA/WTR and ST courses consist of forty (40) and Seventeen (17) Sailor Under Trainees respectively. PIII Chef Qualifying course II/ 2024 consists with twenty three (23) Sailor Under Trainees and all courses will undergo twenty-six (26) weeks of academic studies at NMA.

The Officer In Charge of the Logistics and Management School, Capt (S) RMIA Mendis, Second in Charge of the Logistics and Management School and other Instructors from the Logistics and Management School participated in the commencement ceremony.
