SUCCESSFUL CONCLUSION OF ADVANCED NBCD COURSE 01/2024

NBCD school, The Naval & Maritime Academy Trincomalee concluded the Advanced NBCD Course 01/2024, a significant training programme aimed at enhancing the operational readiness of the Sri Lanka Navy. Conducted from 08th January 2024 to 17th May 2024, 19 sailors from the Engineering branch were trained imparting vital theoretical and practical knowledge in Firefighting, damage control, and NBC Defense.

Throughout the course, participants followed a curriculum that combined intensive theoretical instruction with hands-on practical exercises delivered at the NBCD School, the training included simulations and real-world scenario exercises designed to ensure that sailors develop the expertise necessary to handle a variety of challenges onboard naval vessels. This comprehensive approach aimed to produce skilled NBCD instructors capable of imparting required knowledge within the Sri Lanka Navy.

The successful completion of the Advanced NBCD Course 01/2024 highlighted the Sri Lanka Navy’s commitment to continuous professional development and preparedness.
