Director General Logistics address all Logistics officers in ENA

          The Director General Logistics, Rear Admiral Chanadana Rathnayake USP,psc,MBA (LM), BA(DS),CMILT,LLMC, JP (Whole Island) journeyed the Eastern Naval Area on 18th December 2023. In a momentous event conducted at Admiral Wasantha Karannagoda Auditorium NMA, the Director General Logistics of the Sri Lanka Navy, leaved an indelible mark on the future of naval logistics by conducting a captivating lecture on the topic, “Focused Logistics is the Way Forward.” Moreover, the Director General Logistics of the Sri Lanka Navy articulated his perspective on the future logistics footprint of the Navy via emphasizing the strategic importance of a dynamic and forward-looking logistics approach. Rear Admiral Rathnayake outlined key elements that will shape the future of logistics operations within the Sri Lanka Navy with his wealth of experience garnered over thirty five years, imparting invaluable insights to the eager minds of young naval officers.

        The prestigious occasion was marked by a warm welcome from the Commandant of the Naval and Maritime Academy, Commodore Buddhika Liyanagamage and distinguished gathering of participants, included the logistics officers of the Eastern Naval Area, course participants from Long Logistics Management Course (LLMC), and Officer Trainees of NMA. A memento was presented to him by Commandant Naval & Maritime Academy, to mark the event along with the heartiest appreciation.
