NMA organized several programmes to commemorate the 73rd Navy Day on 09th December 2023. As the first event a mega cleaning session was organized to clean the school premises of Thissa Vidyalaya, Trincomalee and renovated a toilet block to uplift the hygiene of the students.
Further, a Shramadana campaign was launched to clean the surroundings of “Rewatha” Children’s home, Trincomalee as the second event of the programme.
Finally, the Commandant’s division and the traditional Barakana were conducted with the participation of the sailors and officers of the Naval And Maritime Academy to conclude the Navy Day programme.
