NMA PROUDLY ORGANISES RUGBY CHAMPIONSHIP – 2023

The Rugby Championship 2023, organized by the Naval & Maritime Academy was held on 04th November 2023 at the Rugby Ground at NMA with the participation of the Directing Staff along with the Student Officer Under Trainees, Officer Under Trainees, and Sailor Under Trainees.

The KDU team, Eastern Naval Command team, and NMA team competed in the battle vigorously for the championship. The Opening ceremony and the final match were graced by the Commandant Naval & Maritime Academy, Commodore Buddhika Liyanagamage as the chief guest.   

The KDU team emerged as the champions showing outstanding performances and beating the other two opponents.  The trophies were presented to the champion and the participating teams by the Chief Guest at the awards ceremony held following the final match.
