SURVEY RECORDER PHASE III QUALIFYING COURSE 02/2023

The opening address of Survey Recorder Phase III Qualifying Course 02/2023 was held at Hydrographic Survey School on 30th  October 2023 marking the officially commencement of the course.  The aim of the course is to train sailors who fulfill eligibility criteria, stipulated henceforth as Survey Recorder and impart entry – level professional hydrographic knowledge. This course consisted with 15 numbers of sailor under trainees who are undergoing 25 weeks of academic studies at NMA as well as 2 weeks field practical phase in liaison with Sri Lanka Navy Hydrographic Service. The SR III “Q” course 02/2023 is scheduled to be completed on 05th  May 2024.
