Leading Qualifying Information Technology 12th  Course Commenced at NMA

A group of 08 sailors was attached to the Information Technology School of the Naval and Maritime Academy to follow the Leading Qualifying Course of Information Technology branch.

The opening address was held on a high note at the IT School on 30th October 2023. This course is specially designed to provide advanced knowledge of IT subjects for the Able rate IT sailors to advance to the Leading rate.

The Officer in Command of the IT School, Lieutenant Commander (IT) WBC Rodrigo officially inaugurated the ceremony and the Chief Instructor of the IT School, FCPO (IT) AI Obesinghe welcomed all the course participants.

The course participants will undergo 24 weeks of training programme and the course will be terminated on 16th  May 2024.
