32nd Junior Naval Staff Course Culminates With a High Note

On 11th May 2023, the Admiral Wasantha Karannagoda Auditorium in Trincomalee played host to a glamorous ceremony, as the 32nd Junior Naval Staff course graduation ceremony was held with a high note. The event was marked by the awarding of certificates to the course participants, recognizing their hard work and dedication to the completion of successful training. The Commander Eastern Naval Area and Commandant Sri Lanka Navy Volunteer Naval Force Rear Admiral Dammika Kumara graced the event as the Chief Guest. Addressing the eminent gathering, the Chief Guest congratulated the student officers for achieving their career milestones and highlighted the importance of continuation of learning. The families of the student officers added allure to the event.

The course commenced on 9th January 2023 with eighteen student officers including an officer from the Sri Lanka Air Force. During the course, the student officers were exposed to a high academic and professional curriculum in which 32nd JNSC excelled their academic prowess explicitly. The event marked reaps of the harvest of seeds that they sowed through 18 weeks by the student officers.
