Ex ‘Leopard Trail’ Comes to a Thriving End

The exercise ‘Leopard Trail’ organized by the 32nd Junior Naval Staff Course came to a thriving end accomplishing its desired goals at Naval Agriculture and Livestock Project, Headworks, on 24th and 25th March 23. The exercise comprised with activities aimed to develop the leadership skills, teamwork, situation-handling aspects as well as a stress releaser and a monotonous breaker of the student officers.  The Training Captain graced the occasion of Campfire and variety show as the Chief Guest. The participation of the Deputy Training Captain, Director Academic Studies and the JNSC directing staff in the event was a motivational and inspirational element for the student officers.

The day 1 of exercise ‘Leopard Trail’ encompassed spot briefings at ‘Kotiya Culvert’ and ‘Denagama Culvert’ and subsequently leadership exercises with the assistance of Combat Training School (CTS) of the NMA. As a concluding event of the first day of exercise Leopard Trail, student officers were able to showcase their talents in entertaining audience with a colorful variety show which was full of singing, dancing, dramas and stand-on jokes. The second day began with the march up to the Diversion Point. The final spot briefing was a comprehensive study and briefing on diversion point, the Kalamatiyanakulama reservoir and the mechanism of supplying fresh water to the SLN Dockyard and the Trincomalee town.
