NMA secures the first places in men & women triathlon

The Inter Command Triathlon Championship – 2022 was held at the Dikovita and Uswetakeiyawa areas on 26th November 2022. Three-stage competition tested the skills of the competitors who displayed their fitness and endurance in three continuous and sequential endurance disciplines swimming, cycling and running.

Out of 65 contestants from the 09 Commands, first places of both Men’s and Women’s categories were secured by Leading Diver PPRJ Kumara and Woman Able Physical Training Instructor RSID Senavirathna respectively representing the Training Command. After the overall performance, Training Command men’s team achieved the runners up title of Inter Command Triathlon Championship -2022.

The prize awarding ceremony was graced by the Director sports, Commodore Roshan Athukorala as the chief guest.
