‘Opening new avenues for the mariners’ NMA commences boat master grade i course & STCW basic safety and maritime English support level course no. 07/2022

Stepping in to another milestone, the Merchant Marine Training School has commenced the 01st Boat Master Grade – 1 Course and 47th of STCW Basic Safety and Maritime English Support Level course. The opening remark was delivered by the Commandant Naval and Maritime Academy, Commodore KDDC Fernando, RSP, USP, rcds on 15 Nov 22.  The two courses are comprised of twenty student officers and twenty sailor under trainees respectively. Both courses are scheduled to be terminated on 17 Dec 22.
