Training Command clinches the runners up title of Inter Command Drill Competition – 2022

Exhibiting tremendous performances in the Inter Command Drill Competition 2022 Naval and Maritime Academy clinched the runners-up title for their performances and amazing skills throughout the competition. The training command was exclusively represented by the competitors of the Naval and Maritime Academy.

After three days of wrangle, team of Naval and Maritime Academy became the runners-up in the Inter Command Drill Competition – 2022 which was held at the main parade ground of SLNS Shiksha in Poonewa from 03rd to 05th November 2022. The team NMA was commanded by LCdr (G) K Jayasooriya. More than 600 competitors participated from 09 teams for the competition representing Eastern, Western, Northern, Northwestern, North Central, Fleet, Southern, Southeastern, Training Commands and (01) team representing Woman Sailors.

The final round of the competition was graced by the Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy, Vice Admiral Nishantha Ulugetenne as the chief guest.
