‘SUMIYURUSARA’ – MUSICAL PROGRAMME CONDUCTED AT NMA

The Sailors Under Trainees’ (SUTs) oriental musical evening “Sumiyurusara” was held on 06th April 2025 at the Admiral Wasantha Karannagoda Auditorium, with the aim of nurturing and exhibiting the artistic talents of the trainees.

The event conducted in live and relaxing atmosphere, allowing participants to unwind and enjoy the moment of creativity and expression amidst their rigorous training.

The Commandant of the Naval and Maritime Academy, Rear Admiral Rohan Joseph graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. In his address, he emphasized the importance of providing opportunities for trainees to explore and develop their artistic capabilities and further highlighted its value in shaping well rounded naval personnel.
