SURVEY RECORDER III QUALIFYING COURSE 01/2025 COMMENCED AT HYDROGRAPHIC SURVEY SCHOOL

The opening ceremony of the Survey Recorder III Qualifying Course 01/2025 was held at the Hydrographic Survey School, Naval and Maritime Academy on 07th April 2025. This marked the commencement of the entry level hydrographic training, for sailor under trainees.

The Survey Recorder III Qualifying Course 01/2025 consists of 15 sailors and aims to provide comprehensive academic training in the field of Hydrography. The curriculum encompasses theoretical and practical aspects of the hydrography, that are necessary for the trainees to evolve as competent and professional survey recorders. The Officer in Charge of the Hydrographic Survey School LCdr (H) KGTM Jayatissa, Chief Instructor PO (SRII) SYRP Gunawardana and other instructors participated in the event.
