RP III QUALIFYING  COURSE 02/2024  SUCCESSFULLY  COMPLETED

The closing ceremony of the RP III qualifying course 02/2024 was held on 6th April 2025 at the Navigation School of the NMA, with the presence of officers and sailor instructors attached to the school.

The course commenced on 7th October 2024, with the participation of thirty (30) junior sailors and all trainees successfully completed the course. The course aimed at equipping Seaman branch sailors with knowledge to discharge navigation-related duties.

AB TKRPK Rathnayaka, XS 118091, stood first in the order of merit by obtaining the highest aggregate. All trainees were awarded certificates for their successful completion of the course.

The Officer-in-Charge of the Navigation School Cdr HMWM Thilakarathna graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and congratulated all course participants.
