OPENING CEREMONIES OF PO ‘Q’ EM COURSE 02/2025 AND PO ‘Q’ REM COURSE 01/2025

The opening ceremonies of the PO ‘Q’ EM Course 02/2025 and the PO ‘Q’ REM Course 01/2025 were held on a high note at Engineering School Auditorium on 31st March 2025. These courses are specially designed to impart professional knowledge on the theoretical and practical aspects of the electrical and electronic fields, as well as to improve the qualities and capabilities of sailors in the Electrical and Electronic Engineering branch.

The Officer in Command of Electrical & Electronic Engineering School, Lieutenant Commander (L) JR Meegahage, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and addressed the participants. The PO ‘Q’ EM Course is comprises 60 Leading Electrical Mechanic Sailor Under Trainees (SUTs), while the PO ‘Q’ REM Course comprises 30 Leading Radio Electronic Mechanic SUTs. The total duration of both courses is 19 weeks, and scheduled to conclude the course on 08th August 2025.
