CORAL REEF CLEANING PROGRAMME AND REPLANTATION PROJECT CONDUCTED AT CORAL COVE

A coral reef cleaning programme, coupled with coral replantation project, was successfully conducted on 18th  February 2025 at Coral Cove. This initiative was organized and carried out by the staff and trainees of the Diving School, reinforcing their commitment to marine conservation and environmental sustainability.

The initiative managed to remove debris and pollutants affecting the coral ecosystem while also restoring damaged reef areas. This hands-on experience not only contributed to the preservation of marine biodiversity but also provided trainees with valuable practical exposure in underwater conservation techniques.

The event highlighted the dedication of the NMA towards protecting marine life and fostering a sense of responsibility among future Navy divers.
