THE CERTIFICATE COURSE 01/2025 IN GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEM

The opening address of the Certificate Course in Geographic Information System (GIS) 01/2025 for all sailors in all operational branches was held at the Information Technology School on 27th January 2025. This course aims to enhance the theoretical and practical knowledge of the GIS subject and its goal is to equip sailors with the necessary expertise to excel as professionals in their relevant subject areas with the GIS knowledge. This GIS Course commenced with 14 Sailor Under Trainees who will undergo two (02) weeks of academic studies at NMA, and the course will be completed on 10th February 2025.

The Officer In Charge of the Information Technology School, LCdr (IT) WSC Fernando, and instructors of the Information Technology School participated for the Commencing Ceremony.
