NMA UNVEILS THIRD EDITION OF ITS ANNUAL JOURNAL ‘THE PORTHOLE’

Launching the third edition of ‘THE PORTHOLE’, the annual professional publication of the Naval and Maritime Academy (NMA), Trincomalee, the Commandant NMA, Rear Admiral Rohan Joseph presented the first journal copy to the Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Kanchana Banagoda at the Navy Headquarters (27 Jan 25). 

The Commandant also presented a copy of the NMA journal to Rear Admiral Damian Fernando, the Chief of Staff.    

Introduced in 2022, ‘THE PORTHOLE’ aims to showcase research-based articles authored by naval personnel across various fields, while fostering and enhancing their academic writing skills.

The journal comprises articles written by officer instructors, student officers, officer under trainees, sailor instructors and sailor under trainees of NMA.
