OPENING CEREMONY OF PO (COMMUNICATION) QUALIFYING COURSE 01/2024

A group of 35 Leading Communicators joined the Communication School of the Naval and Maritime Academy on 07th December 2024 to follow the PO (Communication) Qualifying Course 01/2024 for a duration of seventeen (17) weeks.

The aim of this course is to impart theoretical and practical knowledge on current communication policies/procedures, ceremonials and other miscellaneous aspects associated with Naval Communication in order to qualify them as professional Petty Officer Communicators of SLN.

The course will enable them to perform their respective duties effectively and efficiently. The OIC Communication School addressed the trainees during the opening ceremony and emphasized the importance of this course to discharge duties as efficient Communicator’s Yeomen and Communication Departmental In-Charge duties during future attachments. The Chief Instructor, instructors and divisional team were also present at the event. The course is scheduled to complete on 20th April 2025.
