THE SURVEY RECORDER II QUALIFYING COURSE 01/2024 COMMENCED AT HYDROGRAPHIC SURVEY SCHOOL

The opening ceremony of the Survey Recorder II Qualifying Course 01/2024 was held at the Hydrographic Survey School, Naval and Maritime Academy. This was a notable event and it marked the commencement of their intermediate level hydrographic training.

The Survey Recorder II Qualifying Course 01/2024 consists of 15 sailors and aims to provide comprehensive academic training in the field of Hydrography. The curriculum encompasses theoretical and practical aspects of the hydrography, that are necessary for the trainees to evolve as competent and professional survey recorders. The Officer in Charge of the Hydrographic Survey School LCdr (H) KGTM Jayatissa and other instructors participated in the event.
