INAUGURAL CEREMONY OF 36TH JUNIOR NAVAL STAFF COURSE

The 36th Junior Naval Staff Course officially commenced at the Naval and Maritime Academy on 11 Nov 24. The Commandant of the Naval and Maritime Academy, Commodore R Joseph, graced the event as the Chief Guest underscoring the significance of this esteemed training program in shaping the future of naval leadership.

The Commandant during his ‘Opening Address’ highlighted the value of successfully completing the Junior Naval Staff Course and, encouraged the Student Officers to set high standards for themselves by pursuing the postgraduate diploma. 

The course consists of 23 Student Officers and marked by its diversity, comprising one officer from the Indian Navy, one Officer from the Sri Lanka Air Force, and one lady officer and officers representing various branches and specializations, highlighting the NMA’s commitment to fostering a collaborative and inclusive training environment.
