SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF PETTY OFFICER QUALIFYING PROVOST COURSE 01/2024

On successful culmination, the closing ceremony of Petty Officer Qualifying Provost Course 01/2024 was held on 27th October 2024 at Provost & Regulating School with the presence of the Second in Charge, Chief Instructor, other instructors, and Sailor Under Trainees (SUTs) of Petty Officer Qualifying Provost Course 01/2024.

The course commenced on 22nd April 2024 with 25 Provost Branch Junior Sailors. Petty Officer Qualifying Provost Course is a long-term course that has been specially designed to indoctrinate Provost duties, enhance professional knowledge, and fulfill their advancement qualification for the next immediate higher rate.

All trainees were awarded with certificates on successful completion of the course and LS (PR) NH Jayasampath XR 102159 was awarded as the highest aggregator in overall subjects. The Second in Charge of the Provost & Regulating School, Lt (PRO) BSS Ranaweera graced the event as the Chief guest and delivered the closing remarks.
