NAVIGATION SCHOOL  COMPLETED RP III QUALIFYING  COURSE 01/2024  SUCCESSFULLY

The closing ceremony of RP III qualifying course 01/2024 was held on 19th September 2024 at the Navigation School of NMA with the presence of officers and sailor instructors attached to the school. The course commenced on 18th March 2024 with the participation of thirty (30) junior sailors, and twenty-seven (27) trainees completed the course successfully. The course duration was twenty-seven (27) week long and aimed at making seaman branch sailors acquainted with sufficient knowledge for discharging navigation-related duties onboard ships and ashore.

REC RAVC Ramanayaka, XS 116989, stood first in the order of merit by obtaining the highest aggregate. All trainees were awarded with a certificate on successful completion of the course. 

The OIC of the Navigation School graced the occasion as chief guest and congratulated all course participants.
