The NBCD School of Naval & Maritime Academy conducted a comprehensive firefighting awareness programme for all naval personnel who stationed at NMA 14 Jun 24 to enhance their firefighting capabilities and emergency preparedness. This vital training took place at the “F Block Building” with the participation of 150 dedicated naval personnel. The programme was a collaborative effort and significant support given from the Command Fire Service, SLN Dockyard.
During the programme, participants were witnessed a series of intensive training sessions designed to equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively handle fire-related emergencies. The curriculum included both theoretical instruction and hands-on practical exercises, ensuring that all attendees gained a knowledge thorough understanding of firefighting techniques, use of firefighting equipments and emergency response protocols. Realistic simulations and drills were conducted to mimic potential fire scenarios, allowing participants to practice their response strategies in a controlled, yet challenging environment.
