AIR FORCE DRILL INSTRUCTOR COURSE VISIT NMA

The Sri Lanka Air Force Drill Instructor course participants visited the Naval and Maritime Academy on 30th May 2024 as a part of their educational excursion. The team comprised of five (05) instructor staff and seventeen (17) trainees and they were warmly welcomed by Cdr(G) SMMLB Sakalasooriya psc, the Officer In Charge of the Gunnery school on behalf of the Commandant Naval and Maritime Academy.     

The SLAF team was briefed on NMA by the LCdr(G) PS Wathsala. After that, the SLAF DI‘Q’ course visited ‍the FAC Simulator, Museum and SLNS Parakarambahu as per the scheduled programme. Further, they witnessed the Sri Lanka Navy colours In and Out procedure conducted by the Drill Instructors of NMA at the main parade ground.

The visit concluded with an interactive session followed by lunch with SLN DI ‘Q’ course SUTs. A special memento was presented to the NMA by the SLAF Drill Instructor Course to mark their visit to the Academy.
