SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED PHASE III SURVEY RECORDER QUALIFYING COURSE 02/2023

Phase III Survey Recorder Qualifying Course 02/2023 was officially concluded on 18th  April 2024 after completion of their academic phase at NMA. Phase III Survey Recorder “Q” course 02/2023 which consisted of 15 sailor under trainees was commenced on 30th October 2023 and they have undergone 25 weeks of academic phase at NMA. Course participants were temporarily attached to the Sri Lanka Navy Hydrographic Service on 18th April 2024 upon completion of their academic phase to follow 02-week field practical phase. Sailors under trainees of Phase III Survey Recorder “Q” course 02/2023 who have successfully completed the course, henceforth will be officially considered as Survey Recorders having entry–level professional hydrographic knowledge.

The Officer in Charge of the Hydrographic Survey School LCdr (BH) SPSK Gamage, Chief Instructor FCPO (SR I) HPAD Pathirana, and other instructors participated in the closing ceremony.
