The opening address of PO ‘Q’ ME SW 01/2024, PO ‘Q’ ME 02/2024 and 05 Phase III Me courses (03- Phase III ME, 01- Phase III ME (TM) and 01- Phase III ME (SW)) was held at NMA Engineering School on 25th March. These courses are specially designed to impart knowledge on engineering field to enhance the capabilities of the senior and junior sailors to make them efficient and effective work force for SLN. The 05 courses are comprised of 147 senior and junior sailor participants.
Lieutenant Commander (E) DRC Nallaperumarachchi officially inaugurated the ceremony and welcomed all the course participants.
The course participants will have to undergo 27 weeks of a training programme consisting both academic and practical sessions at NMA and Naval establishments where resources available for practical training. The courses will be terminated in September 2024.
