‘THE IMMORTALS’ PRESENTED TO COMMANDANT, NAVAL AND MARITIME ACADEMY

The  officers from the 25th Executive Sub Lieutenant Technical Course at the Naval and Maritime Academy (NMA) officially handed over a copy of their dedicated work, ‘The Immortals, Sri Lanka Armed Forces,’ to Commodore Buddhika Liyanagamage,  the Commandant of NMA.

This significant book delves into the detailed accounts of military personnel who were honoured with the Parama Weera Vibhushanaya (PWV) during the 30-year brutal war period. Compiled with immense dedication by the officers of the 25th Executive Sub Lieutenant Technical Course, the book stands as a tribute to the indomitable spirit of the Sri Lanka Armed Forces.

The event which was held at the Commandant’s office on 16th January 2024, marked a moment of recognition and appreciation. The Commandant, Commodore Buddhika Liyanagamage expressed special appreciation on the officers’ hard work and commitment in bringing forth this invaluable compilation.
