INS Nireekshak Calls Port of Trincomalee

The Indian Naval Ship (INS) Nireekshak called the port of Trincomalee on a goodwill visit on 14th September 2023 and she was warmly welcomed by the Sri Lanka Navy in compliance with Naval customs and traditions. Several sports and recreational activities were conducted between the ship’s crew and the Naval and Maritime Academy to enhance the mutual understanding and well-being of both Navies.

Accordingly, a friendly basketball match was held on 15th September 2023 (Friday) between the ship’s crew and NMA staff at the Command Basketball ground. Moreover, a YOGA session was also conducted on 16th September 2023 at the Ashroff Jetty.
