Strengthening NMA Against Dengue By Establishing Of A Dengue Prevention Task Force In Officer Training Wing

Recognizing the importance of safeguarding the health and well-being of its personnel, OTW has taken a proactive step by establishing a Dengue Prevention Task Force. This task force plays a vital role in protecting under trainees and naval communities from the risks associated with dengue fever. The OTW has implemented the Dengue Prevention Task Force, which focuses on several key areas such as Education and awareness, Vector Control, Medical Support, Research and Surveillance and Community Engagement.

The establishment of a Dengue Prevention Task Force within the NMA underscores the organization’s commitment to the health and safety of its personnel. By taking proactive measures to prevent dengue fever, the OTW not only protects its OUTs but also contributes to the overall well-being of the communities it serves. This initiative serves as a model for other schools and departments in NMA, demonstrating the importance of collective action in the fight against mosquito-borne diseases like dengue.
