Practical Leadership Development Exercise Of Direct Entry (VNF) 01/2022 And Basic Orientation Course (Medical Officers)

Officer Under Trainees (OUTs) of Direct Entry (VNF) 01/2022 and Basic Orientation Course attended their Practical Leadership Development Exercise on 19th and 20th August 2023 covering Chappel Beach area. It was a tailor-made training programme, formulated based on sessions aimed to develop their leadership skills, teamwork, and situation-handling aspects.

The training programme was conducted by the Officer Training Wing together with the Combat Training Unit. Thirty-Seven (37) numbers of Officer Under Trainees participated in this exercise.

On completion of the exercise, OUTs organized a Variety Show and dinner was prepared by themselves at Chapel Beach. Commodore Buddhika Liyanagamage, the Commandant of Naval and Maritime Academy graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
