RP II ‘Q’ Course 04/2023

The opening address of RP II Qualifying Course 04/2023 was held at the NMA, Navigation School on 14th August 2023. This course is specially designed to impart further professional knowledge to the sailors who have successfully completed the RP II course and carried out assigned duties more professionally. Further, on completion the course, they will be qualified enough to undergo advanced training in the field of Navigation. The course is comprised with 30 course participants including 01 senior sailor.

The officer in charge of the navigation school commander (N) AMBGTM Thilakarathna officially inaugurated the ceremony and the acting chief instructor FCPO HKM Prasanna welcomed all the course participants.

The course participants will have to undergo 17 weeks of training programme, and the course will  terminate on 02nd December 2023 as per the training programme.
