The opening address of GR II qualifying course 04/2023

1. The opening address of GR II Qualifying Course 04/2023 was held in high note at the NMA Gunnery School on 08th August 2023. This course is specially designed to impart further professional knowledge to the sailors who have successfully completed the GR III course and carry out assigned duties more professionally. Further, on completion the course, they will qualify enough to undergo advanced training in the field of gunnery. The course is comprised of 55 course participants including 02 senior sailors.

2. The second in charge of the Gunnery School Lieutenant Commander (G) Chamara Udayanga was officially inaugurated the ceremony and the Chief Instructor MCPO DSK Dayananda welcomed all the course participants.

3. The course participants will have to undergo 17 week of training programme, and during the course they will attach to AOPV visit, EOD training school ND Maho and Naval Armament Department for enhancing further practical and theory knowledge. The course will be terminated on 02nd December 2023.
