7th EBL; Prof.  PB Terney Pradeep  Kumara delivers a lecture on “Prospects of Blue Economy to Sri Lanka”

The seventh Experience Based Lecture was held with a high note on 27th July 2023 under the guidance and supervision of the Commandant Naval & Maritime Academy Commodore Buddhika Liyanagamage, The lecture was conducted on the topic of “Prospects of Blue Economy to Sri Lanka” by Prof. PB Terney Pradeep Kumara at the Admiral Wasantha Karannagoda Auditorium with the participation of naval personnel from the ships and establishments in the Eastern Naval Area. Prof. PB Terney Pradeep Kumara is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Oceanography & Marine Geology, University of Ruhuna.  

The lecture was an eye opener to the young officers and especially to the prospective Navy Officers those who are undergoing training at NMA. Further, he emphasized the importance of the Blue Economy for the development of the future Sri Lanka.
