Logistics Conference 2023 and Certificate Awarding Ceremony

The 5th addendum of Logistics Conference – Trincomalee organized by Long Logistics Management Course No 7 was held glamorously at the Admiral Wasantha Karannagoda Auditorium on 29th April 2023. The Governor of the Central Bank graced the occasion as the chief guest on the invitation of the Commander of the Navy.

 

Bringing together professional academic experts from the renowned universities in Sri Lanka to discuss under the theme of ‘From Value Chain to Value Network: the Role of Integrated Logistics’. The event featured keynote speech, six research papers, panel discussions and Diners’ Club. Accordingly, the sequence of sessions was conducted under three sub themes of Integrated Logistics as a means to Overcome Contemporary Challenges, The evolution of Value Creation in Logistics on Sustainable Supply Network and achieving Supply Chain Visibility through Digitalization & Integrated Logistics. The event was vivacious with professionals treasured participation of delegations of foreign Navies, Tri- Service and Police officers.

 

Marking the successful culmination of Long Logistics Management Course No 7, the certificate awarding ceremony was held on 30th April 2023. Student officers from the Sri Lanka Navy, Sri Lanka Army, and Sri Lanka Police were awarded certificates by the Commander of the Navy. Lieutenant Commander (S) Madushika Kathriarachchi was awarded for securing the highest aggregate in naval subjects and Lieutenant Commander (S) Menuka Samarajeewa was lavished as the most inspired officer of the course.
