THE FORMAL COMMENCEMENT OF THE RP II QUALIFYING COURSE 02/2026.

 

A group of Fifty nine (59) RADAR Plotter sailors joined the Navigation School of the Naval and Maritime Academy (NMA) on 03 Mar 26 to participate in RP II Qualifying Course 02/2026, which will continue for seventeen (17) weeks.

The aim of the RP II Qualifying Course is to impart professional knowledge to RADAR Plotter sailors, enabling them to discharge their duties as RADAR Operators and perform the responsibilities of Navigator’s Yeomen, Tactical Communicators, and Plotters onboard ships and in operations rooms. The course also covers the demand, upkeep, and maintenance of navigation instruments, publications, and equipment.

This training will equip them to perform their duties effectively and efficiently. The Second-in-Charge of the Navigation School, LCdr (N) EKD De Soysa, addressed the trainees during the opening ceremony and emphasised the importance of this course in discharging their duties as professionals, Navigator’s Yeomen, and RADAR Plotters. The Chief Instructor, instructors, and divisional team were also present at the event.

දෙවන අධියර ආර්පී පාඨමාලාව 02/2026 නාසාවි හි ජලතරණ පාසලේදී ආරම්භ කරන ලදි.

 

2026 මාර්තු මස 03 වන දින නාවික හා සාගරික විද්‍යාපීඨයේදී ආර්පී දෙවන අධියර සුදුසුකම් ලැබීමේ 02/2026 පාඨමාලාව ආරම්භ කරන ලදී. සති දාහතක් (17) පුරාවට පැවැත්වෙන ආර්පී දෙවන අධියර සුදුසුකම් ලැබීමේ පාඨමාලාවට සහභාගී වීම සඳහා RADAR Plotter නාවිකයින් පනස්නව දෙනෙකුගෙන් (59) යුත් කණ්ඩායමක් 2026 මාර්තු මස 01 වන දින නාවික හා සාගරික විද්‍යාපීඨයේ ජලතරණ පාසලට අනියුක්ත වන ලදි .

ආර්පී දෙවන අධියර සුදුසුකම් ලැබීමේ පාඨමාලාවේ අරමුණ වන්නේ, RADAR Plotter නාවිකයින්ට වෘත්තීය දැනුම ලබා දීමයි. එමඟින් ඔවුන්ට RADAR යන්ත්‍ර ක්‍රියාකරුවන් ලෙස ඔවුන්ගේ රාජකාරි ඉටු කිරීමට සහ නෞකා වල සුක්කානම් මැදිරිය තුල Navigator’s Yeomen, දත්ත සටහන්කරුවන් සහ රේඩාර් නිරික්ෂණ, රාජකාරින් ඵලදායිව සහ කාර්යක්ෂම ලෙස ඉටුකිරිම සඳහා මෙන්ම ආයතනවල මෙහෙයුම් මැදිරි තුළ රාජකාරි කිරීම සඳහා වෘත්තීය දැනුම ලබාදීම මෙම පාඨමාලාවේ අරමුණයි.

මෙම පුහුණුව ඔවුන්ගේ රාජකාරීන් ඵලදායීව සහ කාර්යක්ෂමව ඉටු කිරීමට උපයෝගී වන අතර ජලතරණ පාසලේ දෙවන අණභාර නිලධාරී ලුතිනන් කොමාණ්ඩර් (මාලිමා) ඊකේඩි ද සොයිසා නිලධාරිතුමා, සමාරම්භක උත්සවයේදී පුහුණුවන්නන් අමතමින් වෘත්තීයමය වශයෙන් තම රාජකාරි ඉටු කිරීමේදී මෙම පාඨමාලාවේ ඇති වැදගත්කම අවධාරණය කළේය. ප්‍රධාන උපදේශක, උපදේශකයින් සහ අංශභාර කණ්ඩායම ද මෙම අවස්ථාවට සහභාගී වූහ.

பதினேழு (17) வாரங்களுக்கு தொடரும் RP II தகுதிப் பாடநெறி 02/2026 இல் பங்கேற்க, ம்பத்தொள்பது (59) RADAR Plotter மாலுமிகள் கொண்ட குழு, 2026 மார்ச் 03, அன்று கடற்படை மற்றும் கடல்சார் அகாடமியின் வழிசெலுத்தல் பள்ளியில் சேர்ந்தது.
