CEREMONIALLY COMMENCED THE PO ‘Q’ (CH) COURSE NO. 02/2025 AT


The opening ceremony of the Petty Officer Qualifying Chef 02/2025 Course was held at the Logistics and Management School on 18 Aug 25, marking the official commencement.

The aim of this course is to enhance the theoretical and practical knowledge relevant to the Chef branch and to provide sufficient skills to work as a professional chef within their respective branch. Upon successful completion of this course, sailors will be equipped with the necessary cookery and culinary skills to utilise in naval duties. The course comprises thirty (30) Sailor Under Trainees who will undergo eighteen (18) weeks of academic study, including four (4) weeks of industrial training at leading hotels in Sri Lanka. The course will conclude on 24 Dec 25.

The Officer In Charge of the Logistics and Management School, Cmde (S) RMIA Mendis, the Second In Charge, and other instructors from the Logistics and Management School also participated in the opening ceremony.

සුලු නිලධාරි (සුප) 02/2025 පාඨමාලාව ආරම්භ කිරීමේ උත්සවය 2025 අගෝස්තු 18 වන දින සැපයුම් හා කළමනාකරණ පාසලේදි නිල ආරම්භය සනිටුහන් කරමින් පැවැත්විණි.

මෙම පාඨමාලාවේ අරමුණ වන්නේ සූපවේදී අංශයට අදාළ න්‍යායාත්මක හා ප්‍රායෝගික දැනුම වැඩිදියුණු කිරීම සහ ඔවුන්ගේ අදාළ අංශයේ වෘත්තීය සූපවේදියෙකු ලෙස වැඩ කිරීමට ප්‍රමාණවත් කුසලතා ලබා දීමයි. මෙම පාඨමාලාව සාර්ථකව නිම කිරීමෙන් පසු, නාවිකයින් නාවික ඉවුම් පිහුම් සහ සූපශාස්ත්‍ර අයිතම භාවිතා කිරීමට අවශ්‍ය කුසලතා වලින් සන්නද්ධ වනු ඇත. මෙම පාඨමාලාව නාවික පුහුණුවන්නන් තිස් දෙනෙකුගෙන් (30) සමන්විත වන අතර ඔවුන් සති දහඅටක (18) අධ්‍යයනයන් සිදු කරනු ලබන අතර, ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ ප්‍රමුඛ පෙළේ හෝටල්වල සති හතරක (04) කාර්මික පුහුණුවක් ද ඇතුළුව. පාඨමාලාව 2025 දෙසැම්බර් 24 වන දින අවසන් වේ.

සැපයුම් හා කළමනාකරණ පාසලේ අණභාර නිලධාරි කොමදෝරු (එස්) ආර්එම්අයිඒ මෙන්ඩිස්, පාසලේ දෙවන අණභාර නිලධාරි සහ සැපයුම් හා කළමනාකරණ පාසලේ අනෙකුත් උපදේශකයින් ද ආරම්භක උත්සවයට සහභාගී වූහ.

சிறிய அதிகாரி தகுதி சமையல்காரர் 02/2025 பாடநெறியின் தொடக்க விழா ஆகஸ்ட் 18, 25 அன்று லாஜிஸ்டிக்ஸ் மற்றும் மேலாண்மைப் பள்ளியில் நடைபெற்றது, இது அதிகாரப்பூர்வ தொடக்கத்தைக் குறிக்கிறது.

இந்த பாடநெறியின் நோக்கம், சமையல்காரர் கிளையுடன் தொடர்புடைய தத்துவார்த்த மற்றும் நடைமுறை அறிவை மேம்படுத்துவதும், அந்தந்த கிளையில் ஒரு தொழில்முறை சமையல்காரராக பணியாற்ற போதுமான திறன்களை வழங்குவதும் ஆகும். இந்த பாடநெறியை வெற்றிகரமாக முடித்தவுடன், கடற்படை சமையல் மற்றும் சமையல்.

பொருட்களைப் பயன்படுத்துவதற்குத் தேவையான திறன்களை மாலுமிகள் பெறுவார்கள். இந்தப் பாடநெறி முப்பது (30) மாலுமி பயிற்சியாளர்களைக் கொண்டுள்ளது, அவர்கள் பதினெட்டு (18) வார கல்விப் படிப்பை மேற்கொள்வார்கள், இதில் இலங்கையின் முன்னணி ஹோட்டல்களில் நான்கு (4) வார தொழில்துறை பயிற்சியும் அடங்கும். இந்தப் பாடநெறி டிசம்பர் 24, 25 அன்று முடிவடையும்.

லாஜிஸ்டிக்ஸ் மற்றும் மேலாண்மைப் பள்ளியின் பொறுப்பாளர், இரண்டாவது பொறுப்பாளர், முதல்வர் (எஸ்) ஆர்.எம்.ஐ.ஏ மெண்டிஸ் மற்றும் லாஜிஸ்டிக்ஸ் மற்றும் மேலாண்மைப் பள்ளியின் பிற பயிற்றுனர்களும் தொடக்க விழாவில் பங்கேற்றனர்.
