A SPECIAL SWIMMING TRAINING SESSION WAS SUCCESSFULLY CONDUCTED FOR CHILDREN OF NAVAL DOCKYARD PREMISES


A special swimming training session was successfully conducted on 04th May 2025, at the Command Swimming Pool, which was organized by the Naval and Maritime Academy (NMA). This event was exclusively arranged for children over the age of six (06) from Naval families who are living in the married quarters within the Naval Dockyard Premises.

A total of forty (40) children participated for the session, which aimed to enhance basic swimming skills, promote water safety awareness, and encourage physical fitness since their young age. The training was conducted by qualified Physical Training Instructors of the NMA, ensuring a safe and creating inducive learning environment for all participants.

This initiative reflects the Navy’s continued commitment to the welfare of its personnel and their families, fostering both recreational and providing opportunities for the younger generation. The event was highly appreciated/ commended by both children and their parents. Further similar sessions are expected to be conducted in the future as well.

ළමුන් සඳහා සංවිධානය කල විශේෂ පිහිනුම් පුහුණූ සැසියක් සාර්ථකව පවත්වන ලදී


තඨාකංගණය තුළ විවාහක නිවාසවල පදිංචි නාවික පවුල්වල වයස අවුරුදු හයට වැඩි ළමුන් සඳහා නාවික හා සාගරික විද්‍යාපීඨය මඟින් සංවිධානය කරන ලද විශේෂ පිහිනුම් පුහුණූ සැසියක් නැගෙනහිර විධාන පිහිණුම් තටාකයේදී 2025 මැයි මස 04 වන දින සාර්ථකව පවත්වන ලදී.

මූලික පිහිනුම් කුසලතා වැඩි දියුණු කිරීම හා ජලයේදී ආරක්ෂා වීම පිළිබඳ දැනුවත්භාවය ප්‍රවර්ධනය කිරීම සහ කුඩා කල සිටම ශාරීරික යෝග්‍යතාවය දිරිමත් කිරීම අරමුණු කරගත් මෙම සැසිය සඳහා ළමුන් 40 දෙනෙකු සහභාගී විය. සියලුම සහභාගිවන්නන් සඳහා ආරක්ෂිත පරිසරයක් සහතික කරමින් ආකර්ශනීය ලෙස නාවික හා සාගරික විද්‍යාපීඨයේ සුදුසුකම් ලත් ශාරීරික අභ්‍යාස උපදේශකයින් විසින් මෙම පුහුණුව මෙහෙයවන ලදී.

මෙම මුලපිරීම තුළින් නාවික හමුදාව තම කාර්ය මණ්ඩලයේ සහ ඔවුන්ගේ පවුල්වල සුභසාධනය සඳහා අඛණ්ඩව කැපවීම පිළිබිඹු වන අතර, තරුණ පරම්පරාව සඳහා මෙවැනි අවස්ථා සලසා දීම මඟින් ඔවුන්ගේ විනෝදාත්මක සහ දක්ෂතා සංවර්ධනය කරගැනීම සඳහා මහඟු පිටුවහලක් වේ. මෙම අවස්ථාවට දරුවන් සහ දෙමාපියන් මහත් උද්යෝගයෙන් සහභාගී වූ අතර, නාවික හා සාගරික විද්‍යාපීඨය මඟින් ඉදිරියේදී තවත් එවැනිම සැසි පැවැත්වීමට අපේක්ෂා කෙරේ.

குழந்தைகளுக்காக ஒரு சிறப்பு நீச்சல் பயிற்சி அமர்வு வெற்றிகரமாக நடத்தப்பட்டது


கடற்படை மற்றும் கடல்சார் அகாடமி (NMA) ஏற்பாடு செய்திருந்த கட்டளை நீச்சல் குளத்தில் 04 மே 2025 அன்று ஒரு சிறப்பு நீச்சல் பயிற்சி வெற்றிகரமாக நடத்தப்பட்டது. இந்த நிகழ்வு கப்பல்துறைக்குள் உள்ள திருமணமான குடியிருப்பில் வசிக்கும் கடற்படை குடும்பங்களைச் சேர்ந்த ஆறு வயதுக்கு மேற்பட்ட குழந்தைகளுக்காக பிரத்தியேகமாக ஏற்பாடு செய்யப்பட்டது. அடிப்படை நீச்சல் திறன்களை மேம்படுத்துதல், நீர் பாதுகாப்பு விழிப்புணர்வை ஊக்குவித்தல் மற்றும் சிறு வயதிலிருந்தே உடல் தகுதியை ஊக்குவித்தல் ஆகியவற்றை நோக்கமாகக் கொண்ட இந்த அமர்வில் மொத்தம் 40 குழந்தைகள் பங்கேற்றனர். அனைத்து பங்கேற்பாளர்களுக்கும் பாதுகாப்பான மற்றும் ஈடுபாட்டுடன் கூடிய சூழலை உறுதி செய்யும் வகையில், NMA இன் தகுதியான உடல் பயிற்சி பயிற்றுவிப்பாளர்களால் இந்தப் பயிற்சி நடத்தப்பட்டது.

இந்த முயற்சியானது, இளைய தலைமுறையினருக்கு பொழுதுபோக்கு மற்றும் மேம்பாட்டு வாய்ப்புகளை ஊக்குவித்து, அதன் பணியாளர்கள் மற்றும் அவர்களது குடும்பங்களின் நலனுக்கான கடற்படையின் தொடர்ச்சியான அர்ப்பணிப்பை பிரதிபலிக்கிறது. இந்த நிகழ்வு குழந்தைகள் மற்றும் பெற்றோர்களால் உற்சாகத்துடன் சந்தித்தது, மேலும் இதுபோன்ற அமர்வுகள் எதிர்காலத்தில் எதிர்பார்க்கப்படுகின்றன.
